Frequently Asked Questions

How does a subscription work?
Each plan includes a monthly image allowance. Choose the plan and image volume that fit your workflow, and your allowance resets at the start of each billing cycle. You can upgrade whenever you need more capacity.
Are there any rate limits?
No. The API is built to support enterprise level volume. We have no queues or concurrency limits. You can create (and render) as many images as you want, as fast as you'd like.
How are images counted towards my plan?

Images are counted when they are created; downloads and renders are unlimited. Create an image once, include it in an email sent to 1,000 people, and it still counts as one image.

A request may use additional image credits when it requires more rendering work. An ms_delay over 5 seconds uses additional credits, and jumbo images use additional renders based on the number of tiles required.

How long will my image URLs work for?

For paid accounts, your image URLs will continue to work for as long as you have a paid subscription.

We reserve the right to delete images for lapsed or free accounts after one year. You can re-render your images, but they may no longer be cached.

What if I run out of images?

We'll email you when you reach 80% and 100% of your monthly allowance. You can move to a larger plan or ask us to enable overages for your account.

Overages are optional and are never enabled automatically. Basic and Pro overages are $10 per 1,000 images. Scale customers can choose between $10 per 1,000 images and $50 per 10,000 images.

Can I pay yearly?

Yes. Contact us at support@htmlcsstoimage.com and we'll arrange annual billing with a one-time invoice.

How do I cancel my plan?
You can cancel your plan at any time by visiting the Dashboard and clicking "Manage subscription". Your plan will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
Do you offer custom or enterprise plans?

Plans are available up to 1M images per month. If you need more than that or want to talk custom features, let us know and we'll work with you on a custom plan.

Do unused images roll over?
No. Your included image allowance resets at the start of each billing cycle, so unused images do not carry over to the next month.
Do you charge per team member?
No. You can invite your team to your organization without per-seat charges. Everyone shares the organization's plan, image allowance, templates, generated images, and media library.
Can you help debug my HTML?
Yes! If you're having trouble creating an image, please send us your HTML/CSS and what you're trying to accomplish. Include as much detail as you can; if you've got an image_id that doesn't look quite right - that is especially helpful. We usually reply within 24 hours.
