You can now prepay for HTML/CSS to Image and save about 10% to 20%, depending on your plan and image volume. Choose Yearly on the pricing page, and you'll see the prepaid price for your plan.
Your payment buys billing credit equal to 12 months of the selected plan. That credit is then applied automatically to your invoices. You still have a monthly subscription and a monthly image allowance; you're just paying for the credit upfront at a discount.
How the savings work
For example, the Basic plan with 1,000 images per month costs $14 per month. That's $168 for 12 months. With prepayment, you pay $150 and receive $168 in billing credit, saving $18 at current prices.
The discount varies by plan and volume. You can compare monthly and yearly prices on the pricing page before deciding. If you're already using HCTI, you can also choose Prepay and save from your dashboard.
Your image allowance stays monthly
Prepayment gives you a balance of billing credit, not a year's worth of image credits to use all at once. Your plan's image allowance resets at the start of each billing cycle, just as it does with monthly payments. Unused images don't roll over to the next month.
You can still upgrade if you need more capacity. The billing credit can be used toward invoices for your upgraded plan or additional usage, so it may run out sooner than 12 months if your charges increase.
A good fit for ongoing image generation
If HCTI is already part of your application, annual prepayment is a way to reduce the cost of a service you plan to keep using. That might be generating product images from templates, creating Open Graph images for a growing site, or capturing website screenshots as part of a workflow.
